Vessel No. 61 has a softly swollen, almost bodily form whose fractured surface seems to carry its own history. Glaze, exposed clay, fissures, and unexpected shifts in color accumulate like evidence, allowing the vessel to feel shaped as much by what happened to it as by how it was made.
