SELECTED SMALL WORKS
This series of 100 small vessels serves as both an exploration and a study in texture. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of chawan, tea bowls that embody the wabi-sabi appreciation of imperfection and impermanence. They are made quickly, allowing for rapid experimentation, like sketching in clay. Meant to be seen together, their collective presence highlights variations in surface, form, and glaze, capturing the spontaneity of the making process.
