Vessel No. 57 is a hand-built stoneware vessel with layered reactive slips, red iron oxide, and turquoise glaze accents. Fired to cone 10 in reduction, the surface developed extensive crackling, carbon trapping, and tonal variation ranging from warm cream and rust to deep brown and saturated turquoise. The irregular rim and shifting surface patterns emphasize the interaction between glaze movement, atmospheric firing conditions, and the underlying textured clay body.
