Vessel No. 43 is a hand-built stoneware vessel finished with reactive slips, red iron oxide, and turquoise glaze. Fired to cone 10 in reduction, the surface developed layered crackling, pooled glaze areas, and atmospheric color variation across cream, pale pink, deep iron brown, and soft turquoise tones. The asymmetrical rim and heavily textured surface highlight the effects of glaze flow, reduction firing, and the interaction between layered materials during the kiln process.
