Vessel no. 73
Stoneware, porcelain, oxides and glaze at cone 10 reduction
10.5″ tall x 11″ wide

Vessel No. 73 has an unusual compressed, almost folded form, expanding outward from a narrow base before collapsing inward at its irregular rim. Fired four times to build and resolve its complex surface, the vessel carries that extended process visibly through layers of glaze, fracture, and shifting color—evidence of persistence, adjustment, and the unpredictability of clay.
